Selected Performances

1982-83 Appeared in classical dance dramas staged in South Indian cities under the direction of Rukmini Devi Arundale, as a student member of the Kalakshetra dance troupe. Took part in variety programmes and lecture demonstrations of Bharata Natyam for visiting dance troupes from foreign countries.

1984: Bharata Natyam solo debut at Shri Ram Centre Auditorium under the auspices of SAMSKAR.

1985 Toured Federal Republic of Germany as representative of Bharata Natyam style of dance in a programme sponsored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and TDA.

1986-87 Solo Bharata Natyam performances sponsored by Samskar and Sadhana Natya Kala Kendra.

1987 Solo Bharata Natyam at Shiva Temple, Besant Nagar, Chennai

1995 Solo Bharata Natyam recital for Doordarshan’s National Programme of Dance.

1997-2000 Solo Bharata Natyam recital in homage to the memory of Dr VK Narayana Menon. Triveni Chamber Theatre, New Delhi. Also performed Bharata Natyam and Kathak duet with Kathak dancer Ruby Mishra. Solo performances in major Indian cities. Performed for National Television Channel

Dec.2000 Choreogrphed and performed for the opening of "Talacchanda" a multi-disciplinary exhibition based on research into ancient Indian theatre and its contemporary relevance, in collaboration with Glasgow based artist Ranjana Thapalyal, at the British Council Auditorium, New Delhi.

2001 Solo Bharata Natyam recital on 18 May 2001 at 'Sur-Tal' a prestigious platform of New Delhi Muncipal Committee.

June 2001 Performed at the opening of the Talacchanda Exhibition at Out of The Blue Exhibition Space, Edinburgh, Scotland.

June 2001 Solo performances, workshops and lecture demonstrations of Bharata Natyam in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

April 2002 Solo performance at Tamil Sangam, New Delhi.

November 2002 Performed at the opening of Talacchanda at The Tramway, Glasgow; performances and workshops for children and adults in Scotland and England

September 2003 Performed with the Drums of Heaven troupe at the House of World Cultures, Berlins, and other cities of Germany and Austria

September 2004 Solo Bharata Natyam recital at the Chakradhar Samaroh, festival of the Chhattisgarh Government's culture wing

November 2004 Choreographed and performed The Confluence, a blend of Kathak, Mohiniattam and Bharata Natyam, at Shanghai, China

November 2004 Represented the Bharata Natyam style in 'Sapta Rangi', a programme showcasing seven dance forms of India, presented in honour of the visiting Aga Khan in New Delhi
